Lester: Born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. Lester has spent the past 17 years teaching English and doing business in Osaka, Japan. He loves photography, computers, cooking and baking Canadian-style cuisine. Lester looks forward to hosting and teaching you in Penticton, Canada
Atsuko: Born and raised in Nagasaki, Japan. Atsuko is a registered nurse and will make sure you have a healthy and happy stay in Penticton. Atsuko loves taking good care of her Japanese visitors and making sure they have a lot of fun during their stay in Penticton.
Angela: Angela is a very lucky girl as she is not only bilingual but bicultural. She loves to talk and will gladly help you improve your English speaking skills. When she is not singing in the local school choir, Angela enjoys playing with her doll house and helping mommy around the house.
Matthew: Matthew will give you a perspective on life in Penticton from the eyes of an 8 year old. His warm and friendly personality will quickly make you feel a part of the Patrick Family. Matthew loves playing card games, board games, and soccer. Oh yes, he is also a big fan of Japanese food!
The Patrick Family Home, Penticton, Canada
Welcome to the Patrick Family home. We live in a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex in Penticton, BC. There are 2 guest bedrooms in the lower part of our home, and there is also a private bathroom for our guests. Our house is on the left side of the duplex, and we live on a quiet residential street up on the east bank of Penticton overlooking the city. From our home it is a 5 minute drive to Main Street, and a 10 minute drive to both Lake Okanagan (north end of Penticton) and Skaha Lake (south end of Penticton). There is a bus stop at the end of our street which takes you directly to downtown Penticton.
