The family took a trip to Vancouver to get the Japanese passports renewed (a bureaucratic nightmare as you can imagine). Here are some shots of our stay in the West End (English Bay area).
We stayed at the Best Western Sands which is near the corner of Denman and Davie – inexpensive & highly recommended as it is close to English Bay and the great stores & restaurants in the West End.
The weather was cool and cloudy but we still enjoyed walking along the beach, strolling down Denman & Robson, & seeing all the cool shops and big city architecture. I freaked out over the number of Japanese and Korean restaurants – at least 5 Japanese restaurants every block and it was a slice of heaven! – and I could not stop taking photos.
