On March 29, The Penticton Herald and The Western News came to The Salvation Army Church to do some reporting on the upcoming Japan Disaster Relief Fundraiser to be held at Cherry Lane Mall on Saturday, April 2. Here are some photos I took and 2 pieces from The Penticton Herald, March 30, 2011 edition. Everyone was a bit nervous but in the end the interviews and photo-taking went very, very smoothly. What a great experience for everyone and we hope the publicity will attract a lot of people to our table on Saturday!
