June 2011 – BBQ Class

This month we went to a special BBQ class at Young & Wyse Winery in Osoyoos. It is a beautiful winery and our chef, Brian Misko of House of Q Foods, spent the evening entertaining and teaching us all about barbequing. Brian appears on Global TV and he is a true master of the BBQ. Here was our menu for that evening:
Appetizer:
-Portobello mushroom with goat cheese and spinach
-Rice, black bean and mango salad
Main Course
-Grilled Salmon with Mustard Glaze
-Served with Smashed Spring Potatoes and Yoghurt Dill Sauce
-Char-crusted Beef Tri-tip
-Served with Grilled Asparagus
Dessert:
-Grill Roasted Granola Stuffed Apple
