On December 31 we went to Mt. Baldy to visit our relatives and enjoy the winter wonderland. We left Penticton at 6:30am and arrived at Mt. Baldy around 8am. It was a beautiful drive and in the sky we could see so many stars and just a sliver of the moon. It was freezing cold at the ski resort (-20C) but the sky was bright blue and the air was crisp and clean. We spent the morning tobogganing and by noon it warmed up and everyone went skiing. There was so much snow on the mountain and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The kids had so much fun learning to ski and I cannot imagine a better ski resort for families than Mt. Baldy.
