We went to see the Olympic Torch arrive in Penticton on Monday, January 25. It was a huge “to-do” with all the politicians in attendance and some great live entertainment. We even got our picture taken with the Olympic Torch. It wasn’t lit of course but it was still a huge thrill for us. Atsuko also took part in the ceremonies as she carried the Japanese flag and put it on stage.
